Trinity, FL (Sept. 30, 2014) – The Trinity Odessa Chamber of Commerce is planning to introduce a new publication emphasizing in the first issue the “birth of a new community” in the Trinity Odessa area. The new chamber opened its doors this past February and is proud to note that it already has a membership of 250 members and growing. Of these new members 45 are Ambassadors, a promotional wing of the chamber.
The publication now being promoted is to be called TO CONNECT and the chamber’s board of directors is asking its community and new chamber members to participate in its development by sending in news and information about the community, its history, its businesses and visions of its future. Its primary purpose is to connect the residential community with the continuous growth of commerce and new business. Once published, TO CONNECT will be mailed to nearly 15,000 homes and businesses in the Trinity Odessa area.
“We sincerely appreciate the importance of foresight on the part of the landowners in this particular area, such as the Starkey, Mitchell, and Dr. Gills families,” said Executive Director of Pasco County’s newest chamber, Dan Sullivan. “It is their land that is making it possible for business to flourish in the Trinity Odessa area today.” As an example he noted the successful business enclave in the Duck Slough/SR. 54 area. The publication will be printed in full color and will have space for members to advertise their businesses.
Current members of the first board of directors include the Executive Board: Michael Cox – Chairman of the Board, Todd Pillars – Chairman of the Board Elect, Mike Kelley – 1st Vice Chair, Sean Kline – 2nd Vice Chair, Debbie Dawson – Secretary, David DeWeerd – Treasurer and the General Board of Directors – Tony Pastore, Lauren Jolly, Jeff Marsh, Dr. Chris Dunning, Scott Cochrane, Heidi Tuttle-Beisner, Dr. Stephen Unger, and Joe Alpine.
The first edition of TO CONNECT is scheduled to be published in January 2015. The staff is looking for content contributions now. Interested participants are asked to send copy for consideration to Kelly Steen at email@example.com . The written piece should be between 250-500 words and include a reason why the contributor thinks their information is important to a chamber publication with roots in the Trinity Odessa area. Include name and contact information. All contributors will be notified by e-mail once their contribution is received and reviewed.
