A grand opening and ribbon cutting event will take place on Wednesday, October 22nd from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the Brandon Chamber of Commerce and other dignitaries, including Tampa’s Woman of the Year, Elizabeth Fisher. Fisher is the CEO and President of the Selah Freedom, a nonprofit confronting the issue of sex trafficking, slavery and exploitation through advocacy, training and helping the victims with restorative services. Florida is #3 in the country and Tampa Bay is #2 in the state for sex trafficking.
Budget Self Storage is partnering with Selah Freedom by providing collection bins at five of their locations for people to drop off donations of personal care, toiletries, beauty products and gift cards for survivors. Budget will also be collecting these items at their grand opening.
Budget Self Storage prides itself with working with other local businesses in the community and developing referral rewards. The grand opening event will have a unique twist showcasing other local businesses. Guests will follow a map for a fun and interactive tour of the new facility.
Music and refreshments will be provided along with goodie bags, door prizes from local businesses.
