The Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce’s Education Committee in partnership with the Hernando Youth Initiative is proud to present the Annual Summit for Youth and Families on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Northcliffe Baptist Church, 10515 Northcliffe Blvd., Spring Hill.
Registration begins @ 8am. Refreshments and Lunch will be served. There is no cost to attend this event, however you must RSVP.
The Summit for Youth & Families has developed action plans to remove barriers and put solutions in place to create a better quality of life for all citizens, especially our vulnerable youth. This year’s Summit will address barriers and discuss solutions to help with the Graduation Rate, Transition/Workforce Development, Transition to Post-Secondary Education, Teen Pregnancy, Substance Use/Abuse, Violence, Child Wellbeing, Childhood Obesity, Health, Mental Health, Mentoring, Early Learning, Parent Involvement, Media Influence and needs everyone’s support!
County, business, school and community leaders, children advocates, parents, grandparents, young adults, social workers, students and businesses are ENCOURAGED to attend. Sponsors are still needed.
