TiEcon Florida 2014 also features a special panel on the rise of woman-entrepreneurship, a discussion to be led by Linda Olson, Founder & President, Tampa Bay WaVE, Amanda Anthony, Founder & CEO, FlyInStyle, a tech company based in Miami, and Tracey Welson-Rossman, who is the Founding Member and Chief Marketing Officer at Chariot Solutions, a leading Philadelphia area enterprise application and mobile development consulting firm, and also the Founder of TechGirlz, a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring teenage girls to consider careers in technology.
TiEcon Florida 2014 includes a ‘Pitch-Your-Startup’ contest where startups that are selected to pitch will enjoy visibility to angel investors and VCs in attendance at TiEcon Florida and to TiE Global, while winners get cash awards and a chance to present to TiE Tampa Angels, the angel investment arm of TiE Tampa Bay.
