ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Sept. 17, 2014) – Some of the world’s most dazzling professional dancers, championship partners on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, will take to the Mahaffey Theater stage for Ballroom With a Twist Wednesday, January 28.
The all-stars with the smokin’ hot moves are Val Chmerkovskiy, a 14-time U.S. National Dance Champion; Peta Murgatroyd, the Australian sensation who won the coveted mirror ball trophy on Season 14 of DWTS, and starred in Broadway’s Burn the Floor; Season 15 mirror ball champion Tony Dovolani, a fan favorite who’s been a DWTS regular since Season 2; and England’s vivacious Emma Slater, whose credits include a lengthy stage stint in Burn The Floor, and a dancing appearance in the film Mamma Mia!
All four are currently competing in Dancing With the Stars’ Season 19, which began Sept. 15.
It’ll be a fun, breathless evening of ballroom, rhumba, foxtrot, cha-cha, quickstep and more of your favorite dances.
Adding to the night’s excitement: Serge Olnik, Jonathan Platero, Randi Lynn Strong and Legacy, from the current season of the FOX competition series So You Think You Can Dance.
But the thrills don’t end there! American Idol finalists Gina Glocksen and Von Smith will provide the sizzling soundtrack, making Ballroom With a Twist a TV-star thrill ride of dynamic dance and magnificent music.
