MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Sept. 16, 2014) – Registration is underway for Manatee County Government’s 19th annual United Way Golf Tournament. This year the event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4 at IMG Academy Golf Club, 4350 El Conquistador Parkway, Bradenton.
The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m., featuring an 18-hole scramble at $65 per player or $260 per foursome. Price includes golf, range balls, dinner, prizes and more. All proceeds benefit the United Way of Manatee County.
A putting contest will be held from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The putting contest is $5 per player. Lunch will also be available for purchase during the putting contest.
There will be with prizes for Hole in One, Longest Drive and Proximity. Dress code is collared shirts, no denim and soft spikes only.
