Family-Friendly Event to Serve as Fundraiser for Grand Central District Association
St. Petersburg, Fla. (September 16, 2014) – St. Pete Oktoberfest returns to the Grand Central District as an all-day, family friendly event on Saturday, September 20th from 1pm until 10pm on the 2800 block of Central Avenue. The event will serve as a fundraiser for the Grand Central District Association (GCDA), a 501c3 non-profit organization.
The all-day event will feature a diverse lineup of live music featuring local favorites Have Gun, Will Travel, (http://hgwt.bandcamp.com), and authentic German food provided by the German American Friendship Society of Pinellas. The event will also include vendors, a kids’ area, and a series of Oktoberfest-themed contests. VIP packages are available that include food/drink tickets, tables and chairs, and more benefits.
There is no admission fee to attend the event, and free street parking is available throughout the Grand Central District and surrounding area.
