Gulfport, FL: With 4 full liquor bars and over a dozen fine restaurants, all within walking distance, Gulfport is thee place to be on September 20th to celebrate National Rum Punch Day during the Third Saturday Art Walk.
The Gulfport Art Walk event features new artists every first Friday and third Saturday each month and includes several different sculpture and paint mediums, jewelry, photography, fish rubbings, upcycled items, handmade/designed clothing and accessories, body products and more. The Industrial Art Center of Gulfport offers step-by-step classes and instruction in specialized areas such as glass casting, glass fusing, sculptural welding and forged steel for students age 5-85 during Art Walks and other special events. Live musicians appear at several venues throughout the waterfront district, including Urban Gypsies, Double M Band, Cheesy On The Outside w/ Dr. Horrible, and Will Erickson to name a few.
Domain Home Accessories & Gallery will host a reception and one-night-only Anniversary Sale to celebrate the two-year anniversary of its “& Gallery” space. Complimentary beverages and hors d’oeuvre will be offered during the sale and celebration, and jazz saxophonist Henry Ashwood will entertain visitors. Several of the artists who exhibit their work at Domain will be present during portions of the evening.
