Shalyce Jackson Brings to INROADS Strong Healthcare Management Experience
TAMPA, FL- (September 9, 2014) — INROADS, a leader in workforce development for youth from diverse backgrounds, hires Shalyce Jackson to lead its Florida Region Office. INROADS’ Florida Region Office serves the workforce development needs of Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando and Tampa.
Jackson was hired to help position INROADS to lead the effort of connecting college students to opportunities in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) industry.
INROADS’ is year-round and intensive leadership development and relationship management process includes career related, paid internships with businesses and organizations. “INROADS exists to develop and place talented underserved youth in business and industry, and to prepare them for corporate and community leadership. STEM opportunities are on the rise across the country and we want to connect our students to those opportunities,” said Jackson.
Jackson brings to INROADS a wealth of experience in healthcare and management; and a network that connects her to organizations that include Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Abbott Labs, Baxter Healthcare, Adventist Healthcare System’s Florida Hospital, to name a few.
Her responsibilities include management of talent development for INROADS’ students in the Florida Region; and relationship management for INROADS’ corporate and community partners and alumni.
INROADS began its regional presence in Florida in 1986. Since that time, INROADS has matched talented students to corporate opportunities at PEPSI, CSX Transportation, Proctor & Gamble, SEIMENS, SeaWorld and others.

Jackson earned a Masters of Business Administration in Management from Antioch McGregor in Yellow Springs, OH; and completed her undergraduate studies at Wright State University in Dayton, OH.
