CLEARWATER (August 27, 2014) – CareerSource Pinellas is again accepting highly motivated students for its Tampa Bay YouthBuild program. The program helps young people who have left high school without a diploma earn their GED while preparing them for a career.
Tampa Bay YouthBuild is an intensive community-based alternative education program for at-risk young adults ages 17 through 24. Once in the program, students gain valuable paid occupational skills training experience in the construction trades and receive industry certifications. All the while they will be working toward earning their GEDs and serving their communities by working on local improvement projects.
Candidates interested in the Tampa Bay YouthBuild program must complete an application by visiting www.careersourcepinellas.com/youthbuild. Applications may also be picked up at the James Sanderlin Neighborhood Family Center (2335 22nd Ave. South) in St. Petersburg.
