Tampa, Florida (August 25, 2014) – Tampa Community Hospital (formerly Town & Country Hospital) announces the appointment of Lisa Borbon, RN, BSN, MSN as Director of Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. Ms. Borbon will be responsible for managing the skilled nursing and rehab department, which includes directing, planning and organizing patient care activities to ensure the highest quality of care and best possible outcomes for patients.
Ms. Borbon comes to Tampa Community Hospital from Florida Hospital Carrollwood where she served as Transition Care Manager. She has been a nurse since 1999 and has served in a wide range of supervisor, nurse manager, and director positions in facilities and companies throughout Tampa Bay.
Ms. Borbon holds an AA degree in nursing from Broward Community College in Davie, Florida where she graduated in the top five percent of her class. She also holds a BS degree in nursing and an MSN degree in nursing from DeVry/Chamberlain University USA.
She is ALF Core Certified (Assisted Living Facility), BLS certified and qualified as a Nurse Educator. She resides in Land ‘O Lakes.
