BRADENTON, FLORIDA –On Wednesday, August 27, 2014 – Suncoast Behavioral Health Center (Suncoast), an acute psychiatric treatment facility for children, adolescents and adults will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the official opening of the new 60-bed state-of-the-art hospital. The community is welcomed to join in this celebration that will take place at 4480 51st Street West from 11am to 1:30 pm.
The new hospital will offer short- term psychiatric stabilization services for all ages and is designated as a Baker Act receiving facility for those who need to be admitted for an acute mental health crisis that requires immediate assistance. Suncoast’s treatment approach includes comprehensive evaluation, medication management and a full range of individual, group and family therapy. The Hospital’s diverse quality clinical programs focus on providing each patient with a safe, caring, and therapeutic environment that fosters hope, healing and recovery , and ultimately leads to the successful transition back to their family, home and community.
