Students who leave the driving to HART are commuting stress-free and also going green by reducing their carbon footprint! No traffic to negotiate or no need to compete for parking spaces, plus this earth-friendly alternative saves tons of money.
“We’re pleased to partner with area colleges and universities to offer different successful transportation programs that offer thousands of students’ unlimited access to HART services connecting them to and from school, as well as throughout Hillsborough County,” said HART Interim Chief Executive Officer Katharine Eagan.
Whether it’s to class, work or fun, HCC, UT and other students can get 31-days of unlimited rides on HART for only $48.75 (regularly $65) with a HART Adult Student Fare Card.
HCC Students can purchase a 31-Day Local Adult Student Fare Card at the bookstores of HCC’s Dale Mabry, Brandon and Ybor City campuses. In addition, HCC students now have another saving option. The program, which launched this Fall 2014 semester, gives all Hillsborough Community College students the choice of purchasing a full semester pass for $110.* The HCC semester pass allows students to essentially ride for less by providing four months of rides for roughly the price of two! Simply show your Transit Pass and HCC ID when boarding the bus.
UT students can purchase 31-day passes at the Vaughn Center on the UT campus.
Plus, as part of their tuition, students who show their valid USF ID can ride HART Local, Limited Express, MetroRapid and Flex routes absolutely FREE.* Students aren’t the only ones in on the deal. USF faculty and staff pay just 25¢ with their new valid USF ID card. (Where else does anything cost just a quarter these days?)
Connections between HART and the USF Bull Runner Shuttle are available at the HART University Area Transit Center. You can also Contact Us to learn more, or grab a schedule at the Marshall Center, HART University Area Transit Center. Wherever you’re going, we’re going your way!
