Bradenton, FL (August 22, 2014) Lakewood Ranch Men’s Group and Manatee Habitat for Humanity are hosting a Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, September 26th at Legacy Golf Club. Registration begins at 7:00am for the 18-hole modified scramble followed by lunch at the Legacy Country Club. The cost to play is $70.00 with proceeds from the event supporting the Manatee Habitat Veteran Build Program.
Prizes will go to the top three teams, putting contest and longest drive winners. There will also be a 50/50 cash raffle drawing and door prizes. Registration is limited to first 80 players. During the event, golfers will learn how Manatee Habitat’s Veteran program helps local Veterans with critical home repairs. The program also enables qualified veterans the opportunity to build and purchase a Habitat home.
A major partner for the event is St. Armands Key Lutheran Church, a Platinum level sponsor, whose members are currently providing volunteer support and raising funds for the completion of a Habitat home in Hope Landing. Southy Custom Golf is the Gold Level Sponsor for the event. Hole sponsors include Unique Taxx, Laser Rite Document Solutions, U.S. Trust, AACG, JD Barbary Shoppe, Gene and Joan Sommerfield and Lakewood Ranch Men’s Club. A limited number of Hole sponsorship are still available.
