TAMPA, FL, August 13, 2014 – Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across seven offices throughout Florida, is proud to announce that Jacqueline R. A. Root, an associate in the Tampa office, has been selected as a “Model of Success” by the Dunedin Fine Art Center (DFAC).
DFAC hosts an annual Wearable Art show which showcases the designs of 10 artists. For their 10th annual show, DFAC is taking an unconventional route, selecting prominent young professionals in the community to model the artists’ designs and to be their “Models of Success.” Jacqueline will model the designs of Lina Teixeira at this year’s event on August 23, 2014.
The event will raise awareness and support DFAC, which provides arts education for the Greater Tampa Bay area. Jacqueline has been a huge advocate for DFAC’s mission and cause and has dedicated her time to giving back to the community, both in acting as Chair of the Wearable Art event, and as a member of the DFAC Development Committee.
“Jacqueline has been a tremendous leader for the event and for our Development Committee. She is such an asset to our community, and she brings an unparalleled level of professionalism to all that she does. We are impressed and grateful to have her among our inaugural Models of Success,” said DFAC’s Development Director, Natalie Root.
Jacqueline is a medical malpractice associate in the Tampa office of Roig Lawyers. She focuses her practice on the representation of hospitals, physicians, hospices, and other health care providers, defending against claims for medical malpractice, general negligence, and billing and collections issues, among other claims, at the trial and appellate levels.
