TAMPA, FL — Amanda Correia has been named a Supervising Traffic Engineer in the Tampa office of Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global infrastructure strategic consulting, engineering, and program/construction management organization.
In her new position, Ms. Correia will oversee traffic engineering and ITS tasks and monitor projects for technical accuracy. She has extensive experience managing transportation infrastructure projects, including signing, pavement markings, signals, and lighting design, and has performed speed studies, sign inventories, and sign reflectivity studies for the Florida Department of Transportation as well as city and county governments in Florida. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, she was a Senior Traffic Engineer with a Tampa consulting firm.
Ms. Correia received a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of South Florida. She is a registered professional engineer in Florida and is a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer. She is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.
