PASCO COUNTY (August 13, 2014) – Get ready to run, remember and celebrate at Gulfside Hospice’s eighth annual Hike for Hospice presented by Bouchard Insurance on Sunday, Nov. 16.
The Hike for Hospice includes both a 5K Run and 5K Walk and will once again take place at Rasmussen College, located at 18600 Fernview St. (on the corner of State Road 54 and Sunlake Blvd.) in Land O’ Lakes. Registration and check-in begins at 7 a.m., the 5K Run begins promptly at 8 a.m., and the traditional 5K Walk commences immediately after at 8:15 a.m. After the run and walk conclude a special memorial ceremony and balloon release will remember loved ones. Top fundraisers and fastest runners will also receive prizes.

All proceeds will be used to provide patient care and bereavement services for Pasco County residents facing life-limiting illness and their families. Since 2007, the Hike for Hospice, Gulfside’s signature fundraising event, has raised more than $360,000 for patients and their families.
