Larry Nicholson with The Florida Insurance School has been selected to be a 30 Under 30 Leader at Learning 2014, a global gathering of learning professionals. Out of 30 global recipients all under the age of 30, Larry has been selected and will represent Florida at the Summit held on October 26, 2014 in Orlando, FL.
Aimed at developing and spotlighting the next generation of Learning Leadership in the field, the goal of the popular 30 Under 30 @ Learning 2014 Program is to provide support, visibility, voice and development for the next generation of Learning Leaders. During Learning 2014 attendees will have the opportunity to interact with these rising leaders and to hear several 30 Under 30 perspectives.
“Leadership starts early in our careers. Professionals in workforce learning must commit to and develop the next generation of leaders. 30 Under 30 is our way of passionately supporting rising leaders in the learning field, providing them with mentoring, exposure, leadership opportunities and career enhancements at Learning 2014, to be held in Orlando from October 26 to 29”, said Elliott Masie, host and curator.
Over 4 years, our 120 30 Under 30 alumni have played key roles in organizations like NBCUniversal, LinkedIn, Southwest Airlines, Google, The Walt Disney Company, Genentech, Accenture, Farmers Insurance, IBM, Volkswagen, General Mills, Fidelity Investments, Wyndham Hotel Group, The National Weather Service, PwC and more.
30 Under 30 Leaders help focus the conversation on emerging and changing models for learning development including: short videos, gamification, social and collaborative learning and rapid leadership development.
