Clearwater, FL (August 5, 2014) – AAMP of America™ – an industry leader in the mobile audio and electronics industry and parent company of eight top-selling brands – is excited to announce that as of June 30th, its staff includes three (MECP) Master Installation Technicians. Master Installation Technician level is the highest credential offered by MECP and is achieved only by mobile electronics professionals who have at least three years of experience and show the individual initiative, credentials and dedication necessary to earn such a prestigious honor.
The AAMP of America MECP Master Installation Technicians are Ernie Hartman, Rick Costello and Tony Tassillo. Mr. Tassillo received his certification on June 30th. Mr. Hartman received his MECP Master certification in February of 2011 and recertified on June 30th to stay up-to-date on the latest technology (recertification is not a MECP requirement). Mr. Costello received his certification in 2012.
According to Ron Freeman, President and CEO of AAMP of America, “I am extremely proud of Tony and the others for stepping-up to the challenge and earning their MECP Masters certifications. This just illustrates the level of professionalism and expertise we have here at AAMP of America, and the benefit our customers enjoy from knowing that the people testing our products and providing technical support are among the best the industry has to offer.”
To Celebrate, AAMP of America hosted its first ever MECP testing day on Friday, August1st at the company’s headquarters in Clearwater, Florida. 16 installers from throughout southwest and central Florida – including the new members of the AAMP of America tech support team and the company’s corporate trainer – attended the two testing events, with Mr. Costello and Mr. Hartman acting as proctors for the exams. AAMP of America will be exploring additional testing sessions in the future, based on demand.
