(Brooksville, FL) Get your groove on at the Hernando County Parks and Recreation Department’s blues festival “Bluesapalooza” scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 from noon to 9 p.m. It will be held at Hernando Park located at 205 E. Ft. Dade Ave., Brooksville.
The event will include craft vendors, commercial and non-profit exhibits and fabulous food vendors. Highlighting the main music stage will be The Black Swans at 2 p.m., Steve Arvey and the Delta Swamp Rats at 3:30 p.m., RJ Howson Band at 5 p.m. and Selwyn Birchwood at 6:45 p.m.
The Sean Chambers Band will be headlining at 8:15 p.m.
The cost is $5 per person for ages 13 and up, $1 for ages 6 to 12 and free for ages 5 and under.
This is an outdoor venue, please plan appropriately. We suggest you bring small blankets, chairs, umbrellas, small pop-up tents, bug spray and sunscreen. Also, some vendors may only accept cash. Outside food, drink, coolers and animals are not allowed.
We are still looking for vendors, volunteers and sponsors. Craft vendors, commercial exhibitors and food vendors are encouraged to sign up now. There are many volunteer opportunities for all ages, abilities and interests. You must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcohol. Our multi- level sponsorship opportunities are a great way to market your business.
