Tampa – Hillsborough Community College (HCC) is pleased to announce evening class offerings at Steinbrenner High School in Lutz, FL for the fall 2014 semester. In partnership with Hillsborough County Public Schools, the school campus will serve as a satellite location for HCC students in northern Hillsborough County.
“Our evening class offerings at Steinbrenner High School are an example of our strong partnership with Hillsborough County Public Schools to expand access to higher education,” said Dr. Ken Atwater, president of Hillsborough Community College.
Steinbrenner High School will offer a convenient location to current and prospective students, including residents of the Cheval, Keystone and VillaRosa communities. Dual enrollment students from area high schools will also be eligible to take classes at the new location and earn free college credits.
Initial class offerings will be limited during the fall 2014 semester, but are expected to grow with each successive semester as area residents become aware of HCC’s presence in their community.
Fall classes begin on August 21, with new student and dual enrollment application deadlines on August 7.
