Industry Experts To Gather at Tampa Airport Marriott July 24
Tampa, FL (July 21, 2014) … Leading hospitality industry experts will convene in Tampa Thursday morning, July 24, to offer insights into travel trends, new and upcoming hotel development projects and economic factors that will impact Tampa Bay’s travel industry in 2015.
The 15th Annual Trends & Forecasting Forum is open to members of the Hillsborough County Hotel Motel Association (http://www.hchma.com/). The half-day session is from 8 a.m. – noon at the Tampa Airport Marriott (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/tpaap-tampa-airport-marriott/).
HCHMA members and allied members will be provided with industry updates by representatives of STR (Smith Travel Research), The Plasencia Group, Visit Florida and Visit Tampa Bay. Presentations are designed to help hoteliers and other travel-related businesses develop sales strategies and budgets for the coming year.
The featured speakers and topics are as follows:
– Vail R. Brown, CMHS, will present an industry overview focused on historical, current and future trends in supply, demand, revenue and customer segmentation across the U.S. and key Florida markets.

The Hillsborough County Hotel Motel Association is a membership-based organization that represents leading hotels, motels and resorts.
