Starting July 14, the price of the HART Summer Blast Pass will be slashed to $15 , and kids ages 5 – 17 can use it for unlimited rides on HART through Aug. 31!
For the ninth consecutive year, kids can blast into summer with the HART Summer Blast Pass. (SBP) For just $15, students 17 and younger get unlimited rides on HART local bus routes all summer long. The HART SBP is a perfect way to get to summer jobs, the movies, the mall and all of your favorite places.
Summer Blast Pass users must be between ages 5-17. HART Summer Blast Passes may be purchased at:
Marion Transit Center, 1211 N. Marion St. in Downtown Tampa. Open: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
HART on Franklin, 403 N. Franklin St. in Downtown Tampa. Open: Monday & Friday Only, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
HART Ybor Office, 1201 E. Seventh Ave., in Ybor City. Open: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
University Area Transit Center, 13110 N. 27th St. in Tampa. Open: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
HART SBP is not valid for use on HARTPlus or the TECO Line Streetcar System. Users 12 and younger must have an adult traveling with them.
Numbers show the HART SBP is popular. So far nearly, 30,030 trips were taken as part of the Summer Blast Pass program. A HART Summer Blast Pass means independence and parents who don’t want to play chauffeur in the coming months can offer their kids a way to be green, learn independence and save money. The purpose of the program is to familiarize youth to consider transit as alternative transportation, and it allows them to travel safely and independently throughout Hillsborough County.

Thanks to the HART OneBusAway Tampa app, riders can easily find out when the next bus will arrive at their stop.
