BRADENTON, FL – Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County announced today that Catrese Estes has joined the organization as their new Director of Program Services. Ms. Estes brings over 15 years of experience in youth development. During her career, she held the position of Teen Director and Assistant Center Director for Girls Incorporated in Cobb County, Georgia, Director of Education for Junior Achievement of Georgia, and, most recently, Club Director for the A. Worley Brown Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta.
“We are thrilled to have Catrese on board. Her experience, love of the mission and dedication to youth will be a true asset to our organization and community,” said Beth Work, vice president of operations and interim CEO for Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County.
Ms. Estes was a Club Director for Metro Atlanta since 2001, where she worked one-on-one with her staff to advance the mission of the Boys & Girls Club by developing, marketing and implementing innovative programs designed to meet the growing needs of the Club’s diverse population. Her passion for the Boys & Girls Clubs’ mission led her to Bradenton to continue a career geared toward advancing America’s most precious resource… our children.
“I am excited about the number of opportunities and untapped resources available here to positively impact the lives of our children,” said Ms. Estes.
Originally from Union City, Tennessee, Ms. Estes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in recreation from Murray State University in Kentucky. In addition to her work for the Boys & Girls Clubs, Catrese contributes her time to volunteer opportunities that strengthen the community and advance America’s youth.
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
