PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (July 7, 2014) – It may be summer, but Gulfside Hospice & Pasco Palliative Care is already working to collect supplies for children in Pasco County for the next school year.
Beginning Tuesday, July 15 and running through Tuesday, August 5, Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppes will be collecting school supplies for the Kiwanis Club of Greater West Pasco. Anyone who donates to the drive will receive a voucher for 25% off a single item (sale items and furniture excluded) valid for up to one week after donating their items at any Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppe location.
School supplies needed include:
• Backpacks – for both younger and older children
• Colored pencils
• Glue sticks
• Pencil case
• Yellow pencils
Donations are accepted Monday – Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at all Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppe locations. Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppe locations are:

The Kiwanis Club of Greater West Pasco, chartered in 1967, sponsors the Every Child A Swimmer Program and supports The Red Apple, S.O.L.V.E., weekend Food Backpack Program for needy kids and collects school supplies which they donate to seven local elementary schools for needy kids. The club meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Westside Deli, 7611 Little Road, in New Port Richey.
