Bachman, who is board certified in Health Law by The Florida Bar, will work with the Bar’s staff and other committee members to review filed applications and determine passing grades. Committee members are not permitted to review applications from members of their own law firm, family, or others they may know so that fair judgment can be applied.
The Florida Bar Health Law Board Certification is a distinction that includes less than one percent of attorneys in Florida. Bachman is one of only 122 board certified attorneys in Health Law.
According to The Florida Bar, board certified lawyers have a minimum of five years in law practice and they must show substantial involvement in the field of law for which certification is sought. Board certification is valid for five years, during which time the attorney must continue to practice law and attend Florida Bar-approved continuing legal education courses.
