Each month, Michael’s On East offers new “Epicurean Adventure” lunch and dinner menus inspired by exotic culinary destinations, but next month’s featured selection holds a special place in the heart of the restaurant’s founder and co-proprietor Michael Klauber. In July, the culinary team will present a New Orleans Epicurean Adventure.
Klauber spent four years in the French Quarter, working with the famed Royal Sonesta Hotel and Arnaud’s Restaurant in the late 1970s. It was there where he gained his original love for food with bold flavor.
“I’ve certainly been reminiscing about my cooking—and eating—experiences in New Orleans as we planned this special menu,” said Klauber. “From Chef Paul Prudhomme-inspired Blackened Redfish and traditional French Beignets to bold, beautiful Cajun dishes with all the flair and fun of the Big Easy’s best cuisine. This menu will ‘take you away to Louisiana’ from the comfort of your favorite table in our dining room.”
The three-course New Orleans Epicurean Adventure dinner menu is available Monday through Saturday evenings for $34.95 per person, July 1-31, 2014.
