(Brooksville – Tampa Bay Regional Airport) Aspiring aviators age 13 through 17 are invited to the first-ever Summer Flight Camp hosted by American Aviation July 28th through 31st from 9 am – 4 pm daily. Campers will enjoy behind-the-scenes tours and activity-filled days. Not only will they learn fundamentals of flight, view different types of aircraft and explore various career opportunities, they will also apply their knowledge. Guest speakers will engage, building and launching a rocket will thrill and taking an actual flight will inspire. Hurry though, space is limited!
“I wanted to give back to the community” pilot and organizer Chip Laskey stated. “When I was young, I had to search and find this out for myself. I want to help kids realize the opportunities out there and have fun.”
