New Port Richey, Florida — Brilliant Factory, a woman-owned tech-enabled start-up providing a unique social network for entrepreneurs, is the first member to officially move into the SMARTstart New Port Richey Incubator. As an onsitemember, the company has 24/7 access to the facility which includes free WiFi, free parking, co-working space, a mail box, and conference and meeting rooms.
Brilliant Factory is a fresh start-up that enables entrepreneurs to quickly find resources for their new businesses using a proprietary interface. The company anticipates an official launch in the fall of 2014.
“We’re excited to be with Pasco EDC and the City of New Port Richey. This area has always had a lot of potential, and now, with the incubator, that potential is about to be realized,” said Ann Clark, founder of Brilliant Factory.
Managed by the Pasco Economic Development Council, Inc., SMARTstart is the first program of its kind in Pasco County. SMARTstart is an innovative facility-based program where companies work in a collaborative environment with other small businesses. Residents have access to technical support coupled with the ability to network with other businesses, local organizations and community partners.
The SMARTstart New Port Richey Incubator has received strong support from the community. Its partners include the City of New Port Richey, Florida High Tech Corridor Council, Pasco County Board of County Commissioners, Pasco-Hernando State College, USF Connect, USF Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Service Core of Retired Executives (SCORE), and Tampa Electric Peoples Gas (TECO).
