SARASOTA, Fla. (June 19, 2014) Bob Carter Companies LLC has added a new philanthropy and fundraising consultant, Jonathan H. Gudema, Esq. As the company’s Senior Planned Giving Consultant, Gudema will be available to work with BCC clients in the United States, Mexico and the Middle East (www.BobCarterCo.com).
Gudema has served as a planned giving fundraiser-consultant-attorney since earning his law degree in 1994. He worked on planned giving campaigns with over 200 organizations, including Continuum Health Partners, United Jewish Communities and the Anti-Defamation League. He has been involved in arranging for over $300 million in planned gifts. Gudema was engaged for six years as Managing Director at one of the largest U.S.-based fundraising and capital campaign consulting firms, Changing Our World Inc., and then founded Planned Giving Advisors LLC in 2011.

Gudema has been providing planned giving training for fundraisers for 15 years, and he frequently lectures at conferences for fundraising and planned giving professionals. His blog, The Planned Giving Blog, provides first-hand experiences, opinions and advice on nonprofit planned giving programs. Since its inception in 2010, it has received 60,000 visitors and now has over 970 subscribers.
After graduating from Rutgers University, Gudema earned his law degree from Western New England School of Law. He is now based in the Greater New York City area.
