The week-long process starts Sunday, June 15 and culminates with a public presentation of the review and recommendations on Friday, June 20, 8:30 a.m., at the Hilton Clearwater Beach. Representatives of various organizations are selected to participate in interviews with the ULI panelists and similar stakeholders. Interviews take place Tuesday, June 17.
Downtown Clearwater has served as the heart of the civic, business and recreational life for the community of Clearwater and Pinellas County since its inception. In addition, it has been the gateway to Clearwater Beach and a focal point with the centerpiece being Coachman Park, and more recently the downtown Clearwater Harbor Marina.
The Urban Land Institute headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a global, nonprofit education and research institute supported by its members. The mission of ULI is to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.
