Tampa, FL, 6/12/14 – David Conner + Associates is pleased to announce our selection with the Bohlin Cywinski Jackson Architectural Team as Landscape Architect for on the new Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (EOAS) Building at Florida State University. Formed through the merger of the Departments of Geological Sciences, Oceanography and Meteorology, the new EOAS Department is intended to enhance teaching and research across the geosciences. The project will provide space for classroom/teaching labs, study, research labs, administrative offices, and academic support for this new university department.
Bohlin Cywinski Jackson has received more than 575 regional, national and international design awards, including three AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE) Top Ten Green Projects. The firm is recognized for elegant and humane design, ranging from modest houses to large academic, civic, cultural, commercial and corporate buildings. Previous architectural projects include the Apple Store, Fifth Avenue NY, Pixar Animation Studios in Emeryville California, the Barn at Fallingwater, and Nu Skin Innovation Center in Provo Utah.
