New Port Richey, Florida – (June 11, 2014) Medical Center of Trinity is offering Healthy Eating Every Day (HEED), a program designed to help people improve the quality of their diets. Classes begin Wednesday July 9 and occur every Wednesday from 9 – 10 am for 14 weeks. Classes end October 8.
The mission of the program is to help people improve their health and quality of life. It is a total dietary pattern approach to build cognitive and behavioral skills around healthy eating. All foods can be part of a healthy diet. HEED is based on current nutrition recommendations and helps people to learn to use lifestyle-management skills and develop and maintain healthy eating habits.
