App Still Free to Users, Now Highlights Key Family Information
TAMPA, Fla. (June 9, 2014) – MamaBear App, the first-ever all-in-one parenting app to monitor location, social media and safe-speed driving, recently released version 3.0. In the latest version, specified social media content, location and driving information are all filtered into a single news feed, making it easier and more efficient for users to scroll through and view the most recent and relevant information on their family. The news feed is automatically updated and is now the first page when the app is opened. Parents can easily tap through a seven-day location history view on the map tab and still view their child’s current location. The MamaBear app is also now ad sponsored, which has kept the app free for users. Beyond 3.0 includes plans to provide even more personalized information through partnerships for content that bring families value and added features to the child’s view of MamaBear.
“Our goal with version 3.0 was to put the information that matters most to our users front and center in an efficient and interesting manner,” said Robyn Spoto, President and Co-Founder of MamaBear App. “We hope this inspires parents to spend more time throughout the day looking at their child’s daily news, rather than spend so much time in other social media outlets.”
“The most important news feed I review each day is the one from MamaBear about my family,” said Donna Martinez, MamaBear user. “This new version puts that information at my fingertips and makes it easier to scroll through and gather the daily news that means the most to me and my family’s safety.”
Launched in August 2012, the MamaBear App is the first of its kind. It works on a combination of devices using either the iOS or Android platform. MamaBear is currently in public beta and there is no charge for the service. The app currently monitors FaceBook, Twitter and Instagram. For more information, visit Mamabearapp.com or download the app in Google Play or Itunes.
