In partnership with OneBlood (oneblood.org) First Bank will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, June 11 at the Village Green branch (7051 Manatee Ave. West) in Bradenton, Florida.
All donors will receive a free T-shirt and a wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count and cholesterol screening.
“We invite everyone in the community to come out and give blood,” said Anne Lee, First Bank Retail Banking President. “This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the growing number of people in the Bradenton area who need blood.”
Prior to giving blood at the OneBlood mobile unit parked outside the First Bank branch, donors are encouraged to eat before donating and hydrate well. They should also bring photo identification.
