SARASOTA, FL, – June 4, 2014 – All Faiths Food Bank invites residents, corporate groups, and clubs to join its team of volunteers. The success of the Campaign Against Summer Hunger has enabled the Food Bank to increase Mobile Pantry and other food assistance programs throughout Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. Volunteers are needed to help at the new distribution sites that give greater access to food for students who no longer receive regular school meals during the summer break.
“Helping feed children and families is a very rewarding job,” said Food Bank CEO Sandra Frank. “You get to see the gratitude in person, and feel how much you matter to our neighbors in need.”
There are many locations and times available to fit a variety of schedules. Interested parties are asked to call 941-379-6333 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
