“The Impact of Invisible Wounds, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Knows No Bounds”
Tampa, Fla. –Thomas Brown, President and CEO of Laughs for the Troops, founded the local nonprofit in memory of his father, who raised him in single parent home while suffering from PTSD.
Laughs For The Troops, Inc., (LFT2) Announces Comedy Concert for July 12th at The Straz Center For The Performing Arts in Tampa Florida. The Comedy Tour will bring together five of America’s best comedians performing for America’s best, our military.
Thomas Brown, President, & CEO of LFT2 and one of the five headliners, founded “Laughs For The Troops” in 2013. Said Brown, “Our mission is to support our nations returning troops suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by providing events like this to raise both money for their treatment, as well as raising the spirits of our troops.”
Corporate and individuals wishing to sponsor this event can participate in several ways. Sponsor packages range from $10,000 to $1,250 and include both Premium Gold Ring seating as well as general admission tickets. Gold Ring ticket holders also will have a pre-show meet and greet with the comedians. Many sponsors are donating tickets to members of our Armed Forces as an additional means of giving back to our troops.
The headliners for the evening, in addition to Thomas Brown are; Tommy Drake, Happy Cole, Phil Palisoul and Ralph Harris. The evening will certainly give our Armed Forces something to laugh about. The show starts at 7:30 in Ferguson Hall and is a family friendly show suitable for all ages.
