May 27, 2014, SARASOTA, FL—Knight Marketing (knightmarketing.com), a Sarasota-based advertising and publishing firm, has won the contract with Visit Sarasota County to produce the bureau’s official visitor guide for 2015, 2016 and 2017.
According to Erin Duggan, Director of Brand for Visit Sarasota County, Knight Marketing was selected in a competitive proposal process based on criteria including its design and project management capabilities, cost and corporate location. The firm was previously responsible for producing “Discover Natural Sarasota County,” an eco-tourism guide that was recently released.
“The new version of Discover Natural Sarasota County produced by Knight Marketing has received an overwhelmingly positive reception,” said Duggan. “We are confident they will produce another beautiful and user-friendly publication that will accurately communicate the many unique characteristics of Sarasota County.”
The visitor guide is distributed at tradeshows and events internationally and mailed to potential visitors who request information. Completion of the new guide is expected in the fourth quarter of this year.
Knight Marketing was founded in 1997 and is owned by Tracy Knight and Ticia Mahler. It represents a variety of regional and national clients in sectors including healthcare, hospice, building products, travel and real estate.
