The Patterson Foundation will dedicate the 2,800-seat ceremonial amphitheater at Sarasota National Cemetery on June 28
SARASOTA, Fla. (May 23, 2014) – The public is invited to attend the Saturday, June 28 dedication of Patriot Plaza, the 2,800-seat ceremonial amphitheater at Sarasota National Cemetery. Tickets are FREE and are required for admission to the dedication ceremony. Tickets are available first come, first served at select locations throughout Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and DeSoto counties.
Patriot Plaza, which includes significant art installations that will honor veterans and their families for generations to come, was created through a first-ever public-private partnership between The Patterson Foundation and the National Cemetery Administration. The Patterson Foundation has fully funded the design, construction, and dedication of the ceremonial amphitheater and will provide an endowment for structural replacements.

The free tickets are available starting June 3. Limit up to four tickets per person. Available while supplies last – just 2,800 tickets will be given out. There will be open seating/general admission on dedication day.

The Church of St. Patrick – 7900 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota
Shuttles from parking areas to Sarasota National Cemetery start at 8:30 a.m. and run every 10 minutes through 9:45 a.m. Return shuttles run every 10 minutes through 1:30 p.m.
