Sarasota – May 22, 2014– All Faiths Food Bank recognized the generosity of Noah Laney, a kindergartener at Calvary Chapel School, on Thursday, May 22 at 2 p.m. at the Food Bank. He stopped in with his parents Chris and Bethany, and dropped of 88 pounds of nonperishable food and took a tour of the Food Bank’s 20,000 square foot warehouse.
Noah, who recently celebrated his sixth birthday, requested that party guests bring food instead of presents. His parents, aware of the Campaign Against Summer Hunger, contacted All Faiths about the contribution. In honor of his generosity, an All Faiths Food Bank representative presented him with a baseball cap and a certificate of appreciation, naming him a student of the year.
