New Website shares HR&DC initiatives underway in Haiti to achieve the company vision to bring Dignity for the Dead, Hope and Opportunity for the Living, including goals, progress and next steps, as well as the executive team, partners and avenues for volunteerism.
May 14, 2014 – TAMPA, Fla. — Haiti Recovery & Development Company (HR&DC), a Tampa, Florida company whose mantra is “Dignity for the dead, hope and opportunity for the living,” today announced the launch of a new website http://www.haitirecoverydevelopment.com. The new website features a number of current Haiti Recovery & Development Company initiatives including HR&DC’s primary goal to lead the development of a Haitian National Memorial and Peace Park on the grounds of the mass gravesites where victims of the 2010 earthquake are interned, a master plan to help establish a footprint for five modern communities in Haiti, the transition of multiple resettlement camps into one of those new communities, all managed via the company’s pioneering concept to act as a Government Facilitating Organization (GFO). The website provides rich information for media, international agencies, academic institutions, governments, the people of Haiti and interested parties about each initiative, company partnerships, volunteerism opportunities, and the HR&DC executive team and how to connect with leaders on the company blog and social channels.
HR&DC CEO Jim Lange said of the new website, “over the last four years we have worked quietly, with minimal communication about our efforts to provide dignity for the dead, hope and opportunity for the living in Haiti. This new website represents a shift in our philosophy as we seek to share the outcomes of four difficult years building relationships with the numerous stakeholders in Haiti’s future. As a result, we have numerous initiatives in Haiti now underway that promise to fulfill that mission. I am grateful for the outstanding effort lead by Senior Vice President of Communication Bob Linger, and our team including Senior Vice President of Operations Dino Eliadis; Senior Vice President of Administration Alex Lange; Ambassador – Student Affairs Dave Wistocki and Dave’s group of student volunteers from the University of Tampa. This volunteer effort from Bob Linger was outstanding. He and his team did an incredible job capturing the sensitivity and essence of our work in Haiti and our mission to provide dignity for the dead, hope and opportunity for the living. ”
Senior Vice President of Communications Bob Linger said, “I am proud of our website design team at New Marketing Lighthouse and the Haiti Recovery and Development Company executive team’s hard work in developing this new website. We designed the site to launch our messaging to international agencies, governments, academic institutions, the media and of course the people of Haiti who have suffered entirely too much, for too long. HR&DC is committed to initiatives that make a difference in achieving a sustainable Haiti behind CEO Jim Lange’s pioneering concept coined Government Facilitating Organization (GFO). We invite interested parties to visit us at www.haitirecoverydevelopment.com to learn about our vision and our current efforts.”
The new Haiti Recovery and Development Company website includes detailed information about the company and vision, founder Jim Lange, the executive team, company history, current initiatives, how readers can stay current or get involved, and a Media Center and can be found at http://www.haitirecoverydevelopment.com.
