PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (May 12, 2014) – The Pasco Sheriff’s Mounted Posse presented Gulfside Hospice & Pasco Palliative Care with a check for $24,000 on May 7 at the Pasco Sheriff’s Administrative Office in New Port Richey. The money is from the sixth annual Ride for Hospice held on March 15 and 16 at Diamond B Ranch.
Linda Ward, Gulfside’s president and CEO, received the check from Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco with members from the Posse and Gulfside Hospice looking on. “On behalf of our organization, I would like to personally thank the Posse for holding this event to benefit Gulfside,” said Ward. “Gulfside Hospice is forever grateful for all the work the Pasco Sheriff’s Mounted Posse has put into this event, not just this year, but over the past six years.”
In addition, present at the check presentation was Sue Touchston, who raised the most money for the event. Touchston raised $4,843.43. Also present was Paul Correia who held Paulie Palooza, a separate music fundraiser that was the presenting sponsor for the event.

Tyler and Corkum came up with the idea for the Ride for Hospice after participating in Gulfside’s Hike for Hospice.
