Phelps Dunbar is pleased to announce that Sharon Carlstedt Britton has joined the firm’s litigation practice in Tampa where she will continue her practice in complex and commercial litigation. She will represent clients in disputes related to intellectual property, professional liability, health care, contracts and securities.

Before practicing in Florida, Ms. Britton was a partner with New York firm Thelen, Reid & Priest LLP where she litigated a wide range of commercial actions, including high profile copyright infringement actions on behalf of record labels, music publishers, and artists against Internet companies such as MP3.com and Napster.
