Sarasota, Florida – Manjesh Lingamurthy, M.D. has joined the Cancer Center of Sarasota-Manatee, a member of the MAXhealth family of physicians and services. He will see patients at the Bradenton office located at 3501 Cortez Road West.
Dr. Lingamurthy is Board Certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
A native of India, Dr. Lingamurthy received his medical degree from J.J.M. Medical College. After coming to the US, he completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital (Bronx, NY). He then completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the Nassau County Medical Center (East Meadow, NY) Dr. Lingamurthy comes to the Cancer Center after spending 13 years treating both Hematology and Medical Oncology patients in Virginia, Illinois and most recently at the Michael and Dianne Bienes Comprehensive Cancer Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He has been active in clinical trials for the past 5 years.
Dr. Lingamurthy is married to Dr. Jyoti Yeli and they have two school-age sons. He is an avid photographer and has had his work published in Bird Watching Magazine. He is on staff at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Manatee Memorial Hospital and Blake Medical Center.
