Visit St. Pete/Clearwater, Visit Tampa Bay and Tampa International Airport are joining forces to tackle hunger at the 1st Annual Tourism Gives Back service project. Individuals and teams will get the chance to help out local families by filling backpacks with nutritional food supplies.

About Feeding America Tampa Bay’s Backpack Program:
As many as 250,000 children in the Tampa Bay area go hungry every day. Feeding America Tampa Bay’s Backpack Program tackles hunger that leaves children malnourished and disrupts learning. The program fills backpacks with nutritional food supplies for children to take home with them over the weekend.
