|Open House scheduled for May 14, 2014
SARASOTA, FLA, – April 30, 2014 – All Faiths Food Bank invites residents to join its team of volunteers. An Open House is planned for Wednesday, May 14, 2014, from 2-4 p.m. at the Sarasota County Public Works Building. The requirement for becoming a valued volunteer is enthusiasm.
“We love our volunteers.” said All Faiths CEO Sandra Frank. “They provide so much support that we could not feed thousands people each week without them.”
Guests of the Open House will learn about the many types of work available, in a variety of locations throughout Sarasota County. Volunteers are needed at new food distribution sites thanks to the Campaign Against Summer Hunger, and helping out at our nutrition education classes and activities, to name a few. Guests will be invited to sign up for positions that will fit their schedules and skill levels at the Open House.
