The culinary team at Michael’s On East will present a creative twist on traditional Mexican cuisine with featured two-course lunch and three-course dinner menus as part of Michael’s Mexican Epicurean Adventure, May 1-31, 2014.
“Chef Jamil has—once again—outdone himself with another inventive menu. This menu offers contemporary twists on Yucatan classics,” said Michael Klauber, co-proprietor of Michael’s On East. “When considering wine pairings for this Mexico-inspired menu, we instantly selected Old World wines from Spain, a refreshingly fruit forward white and rich, spicy red.”
A red and white wine pairing have been chosen from Spain’s Campo de Borja to accompany the Mexican Epicurean Adventure menus, and offered for a limited time only. The “Los Dos” Almira Grenache/Syrah and Bodega Borsao Blanco will be offered for $10 during dinner and $5 per pairing during lunch.
Michael’s Epicurean Adventures present culinary journeys to a new destination each month. The Mexican Epicurean Adventure three-course dinner menu will be available for $34.95 per person, Monday through Saturday, May 1-31, 2014. The two-course lunch offering is available for $18.95 per person, Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Epicurean Adventure menus are not available on holidays, such as Mother’s Day. Michael’s On East will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 26, 2014.
