TAMPA, Fla. – April 29, 2014 – Golfer’s Grail in Tampa is hosting eight, week-long indoor junior golf camps this summer starting the week of June 2. Each day will include instruction, contests, prizes, a mid-morning snack and play on a wide variety of available golf courses. The camp is geared for kids ages 6-14. Instructors are PGA pros, PGA Apprentices and Golfer’s Grail staff members.
“Our Indoor Junior Golf Camp provides kids with a fun and interactive way to learn and enjoy golf, without the nuisance of the Florida heat,” said PGA Apprentice Jason Sproat. “The camp will help develop the junior golfer’s skills and knowledge of the game all while having fun.”
Top-of-the-line golf simulators provide a detailed analysis on every swing, allowing instructors to give youth personalized golf instruction. Lessons will be conducted at a maximum teacher/junior ratio of 5:1.
Golf camp dates include June 2-6, June 9-13, June 16-20, June 23-27, July 7-11, July 14-18, July 21-25 and July 28-August 1 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. For each session, the Monday-Thursday portion of the camp is $115 and the optional Tournament Day on Friday is $25.
