Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano announces the retirement of longtime Customer Service Representative III Cathy Burke. Cathy, who works out of the Dade City office, has been with the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office for eleven years. Her retirement ends a distinguished career serving the residents of Pasco County. Her recent work running the correspondence desk was only one of many important roles Cathy played in the office. Cathy was trained in all aspects of the office’s operation and has been an integral part in the training of new employees.
“Cathy is one of those go-to people who could do just about any job within this office,” Mike Fasano comments. “Not only is she a well liked member of the team, she is extremely talented. Her skills and abilities will surely be missed as she moves into her new life in retirement.”
During a farewell ceremony on April 28th, Cathy was presented with a plaque commemorating her career with the tax collector. The plaque states: “In appreciation and recognition of your courteous, professional, and dedicated service to the Citizens of Pasco County 2003 – 2014.”
“I know I speak for all members of the Tax Collector’s team when I say this organization is a better place because of Cathy’s presence,” Mike Fasano adds. “Her positive attitude, work ethic and willingness to help out wherever and whenever needed will surely be missed. I wish Cathy the best as she moves forward with what will no doubt be a new and exciting time in her life.”
