TAMPA, FLA. — (April 18, 2014) – Shannon Sheppard has been promoted to Equity Shareholder at Smolker, Bartlett, Schlosser, Loeb & Hinds, P.A., a Tampa law firm concentrating in real estate and property rights representation. Since 2004, Ms. Sheppard has concentrated her practice in the area of commercial real estate transactions. Before SBSL&H, she practiced at an “AmLaw 100” law firm in Atlanta and worked in-house for a public REIT. Ms. Sheppard represents developers in the acquisition, disposition, financing, development and leasing of office, retail and industrial properties, single-family subdivisions and multi-family developments. Ms. Sheppard also represents borrowers and lenders in acquisition, construction and permanent financing transactions. She has significant experience in forming real estate businesses, including joint ventures.
Ms. Sheppard earned a J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. She also earned a B.A degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Indianapolis.
